Sean's Basic Borschet Recipe:

Ingredients

4-5 large beets, scrubbed and julienned

1-2 large onions, diced

2 large potatoes, cubed

1 Can stewed tomatos

2 cans romaro beans

a whole pile of veg stock

[or water and veg cubes]

Use organic beets for a sweeter taste.

Add everything in a pot and bring to boil.

Bring down to medium and stir regularly.

Cook until beets are tender.

Add green peas to taste, and salt and pepper to taste.

Serve hot. Optionally, stir in sour cream.
